About Identity Graphics...
Identity Graphics & Sign Shop opened in January of 2008 in Duncan BC.
We are a full sign shop with two in house graphic designers and a web designer on staff. We have become a one stop shop for everything you would need when starting a business from your logo, business cards, brochures, signs, vehicle decals, web site and any promotional material, including ads, posters, and the list goes on and on.
We run a large format printer that prints on a variety of substrates including, digital vinyl - (opaque and clear), banner material, poster paper, canvas, printable reflective vinyl, etc. We also offer a variety of cut vinyl options with a wide selection of colours in both gloss and matte finish. As well there are reflective, etched glass, and all types of metallic vinyl options are also available.
We make almost all our signs in house we use a wide variety of sign boards including: Corrugated Plastic, Komatex (rigid sign backing available in varied thicknesses), Alupanel (aluminum fused between a heavy duty piece of plastic), and many more. About Our Staff...
Lindsey-Lea Mercer I am the owner of Identity Graphics and Sign Shop. I am a formally trained graphic designer. I attended Vancouver Island University (formerly Malaspina University). I earned my graphic design diploma and fortunately was able to started working in the design and print field upon graduation and never looked back. I worked for approx 5 years at a sign company in Duncan. At that shop I went from being the graphic designer to running the whole shop in a few years. When the doors shut in Dec of 2007, I was able to keep going with design on my own. Soon after I was able to purchase a large format printer, laminator and opened a shop of my own. Since then everything has been growing and changing every year. Our customer service, quality and ethical business practices are at the utmost importance to us.
Kara Espeseth is our other in house graphic designer. She graduated from Capilano University in Vancouver with her graphic design diploma. She is not only an excellent graphic designer, but also an accomplished children’s book illustrator. Kara has also illustrated images used for wine bottle labels, and site maps, among other items. Kara has not only brought her artistic talents, but is also great at vinyl application and sign making.
John Kelly has recently joined our team as our web designer. In doing so we are now able to offer professional web design with site types including, Wordpress and Joomla. These sites allow for the client to update and change information themselves whenever necessary. With his extensive experience and knowledge we are lucky to have John on staff and as such be able to add professional web design to our growing list of services. Sheri Lowery is our wonderful bookkeeper and helps with reception, and general organization. Sheri has a finance degree from Vancouver Island University (formerly Malaspina University). After taking time off to have her daughter Sheri came on staff here for three days a week. Her presence has been the missing link and will definitely ad to our overall and continuing success. We are lucky to have her here.
